MNC culture...a pain area..

A conference room with 15 new joinees around. Life has become mesmerized over a few cups of coffee, Pizza, Daaru parties, Free lunch, Team outings, town halls, and a laptop to make your life more hell.

Here comes the sweet looking so called HR girls.

“You have to fill these forms and sign on every page of the Non Disclosure agreement”.

 “Uff, oh God..not again…4^th company..I am fed up of all these forms, induction, meetings  and moreover a plastic smile even if you are listening to few delta points in the 1-1 with your manager. What the hell..”   

“ I am deserving still I don’t get appropriate promotion and hike and the one who goes out on SUTA breaks with manager are growing” This is the thought of every engineer in every organisation..

Few freshers get so excited and influenced by the beautiful girls around,  friendly cool environment, free snacks, coffee….all unlimited…even the work goes unlimited..

Release, Delivery, Go live, UAT, Dress rehearsal - each organisation  struggles with its own set of words to differentiate itself from the other’s terminologies.

Software Engineer-I have started hating this word now(I know by reading this all my engineer friends would kill me)

I understand people love their work and it’s a passion for many…It’s your work, it’s your identity, it’s your obsession, and it’s what you enjoy..and getting paid for..

However it is not something which your family enjoys..I have seen mothers waiting endlessly for her son/daughter in the evening to return…

“I need to stretch, late ho jaunga, delivery hian” …these are so common messages our parents receive after awaiting for our calls in the evening…

Everyone needs money, everyone needs a vocation….But not at the cost of NO time for your family and personal things….
